We are a couple trying to faithfully live out the Great Commission of our Lord by ministering to those in and around the city of El Progreso, Honduras. Our goal is to plant a church in the small village of El Castaño and establish it to receive a full-time pastor. In addition we’ll be hosting short-term mission groups from Riverbend Community Church and organizing local pastors’ conferences. Almost all of this is new to us, so whether you know our voices or not, please join in praying for this mission.
Follow along on the blog as we provide updates from the field and other encouraging posts.

Hey guys, know that we will be praying for you much and and are looking forward to see God’s grace lavished upon you in your ministry for Him.
Welcome to Honduras. I saw your link on La Gringa’s Blogicito. My husband and I recently retired here to Trujillo, his home town. We both feel God led us to retire here, although we are still listening to him for the reason. I will certainly add you to my prayer list.
Here is blog that I enjoy, in case you haven’t found it already. http://www.sowers4pastors.blogspot.com/
Trish and her family are missionaries in the Western Highlands of Honduras. I frequently tease her about my Catholic prayers for their mission and their family.
It is a very small world. My sister lives in Daytona Shores.

Hi Luke and Lynn,
We just found your website and are glad to keep up with you this way. We have heard many things from the team that was there recently; in fact, Ruth Torres is going to do a presentation about their trip to the ladies group tomorrow night (Monday, March 29) and I’m looking forward to it.
Please know that we, along with many others at Riverbend and elsewhere, continue to lift both of you in prayer — that your ministry would be fruitful and that God would supply all your needs through his GREAT riches in Christ Jesus.
May God bless you always,
Carole and Johnny Edwards
